This article list and discuss the best 100 books of all time in the world. These books are a must read for any aspiring intellectual or the reading hobbyist out there. I believe that reading at least half of these books in a life time will have great impact on a person's life. These writers have made both the name and fame for years and centuries.

They have been acclaimed and respected as the top writers of all time.

The World Library contributed to this list as planned by 100 writers from  different countries, compiled and arranged in 2002 by the Norwegian Book Club. This list endeavors to mirror world literature, with books from all cultures, and time periods.

Each author had to pick out his or her own list of 10 books.
